ABOUT GHEREA STUDIO
Hi, I'm Ester — I help people fall back in love with their homes.
I started Gherea Studio because I kept meeting homeowners who loved their neighborhoods, their bones of their houses, everything — except how their rooms actually felt to live in. Seven years and many projects later, that's still the problem I love solving most.
"Good design should feel inevitable — like the room was always meant to be this way."

MY PATH HERE
How I got into design
A quick version of the long story — the training, the places I've worked, and why European-inspired design became my signature.
Early years
Grew up surrounded by craftsmanship
Design wasn't a career choice so much as something I couldn't ignore — I was rearranging furniture before I knew that was a job.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Interior Design
Formal training in space planning, materials and the technical side most homeowners never see — the part that keeps a beautiful room from falling apart in six months.
Early career
Projects across Canada and abroad
Working internationally shaped the studio's point of view: elegant, layered, European-influenced, but always grounded in how a household actually functions.
Today
Gherea Studio, based in Langley
Now I work directly with homeowners across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley — from single rooms to full renovations, always hands-on, start to finish.

Every project starts with how you live, not what's popular this year.
You work directly with me from first call to final install — no hand-offs.
Clear numbers early, so there are no surprises halfway through.
I personally oversee installation — the plan and the reality match.
